List #347: If I had a Million Dollars (and I had to spend it, not save it)
1. 300,000 - Downpayment on house in Duluth (OR a larger amount to buy a house on Pike Lake)
2. 20,000 - Pay off all debts (car, grad school, undergrad)
3. 100,000 - Carleton College
4. 30,000 - iSchool
5. 50,000 - American Cancer Society
6. 50,000 - Multiple Sclerosis research
7. 50,000 - A Washer and Dryer for my Mom (and the rest at her discretion)
8. 50,000 - A corvette for my Dad (Because I owe him one)
9. 20,000 - PBS
10. 20,000 - Howard County Public Library
11. 20,000 - Duluth Zoo
12. 20,000 - Duluth Public Library
13. 20,000 - Pike Lake Presbyterian Church
14. 10,000 - Building a personal Comic and Graphic Novel collection
15. 10,000 - Guitars, Basses and Amplifiers
16. 30,000 - Suits and accessories(ridiculously nice ones)
17. 20,000 - My current place of employment
18. 10,000 - Comic Book Legal Defense Fund
19. 20,000 - Electronics: Computer, Stereo, TV, LCD Projector etc.
20. 10,000 - Super nice bed and mattress and sheets
21. 30,000 - Commissioned Artwork from some of my favorite artists
22. 100,000 - A super awesome party with a favorite band playing the music, and awesome food, as a charity fundrasiser.
23. 10,000 - A trip to somewhere cold like Lapland, or Alaska, or Antarctica(TBD)
25. 2,000 - Expensive Dinners at a few really nice restaurants
26. 2,000 - Towards completing my Heroclix collection
27. 2,000 - Car Maintenance
28. 2,000 - Kitchen supplies (incl. appliances, ingredients and beverages)
29. 1,000 - In an envelope, hidden in a library book with a note to the finder saying "Use half of this to do good for the world, and half to do good for yourself"
30. 1,000 - Shiny rocks
If I had A Lot more than a Million Dollars, I'd buy Camp Miller. The Y always wants money..
